Global Pet Grooming Products Market: 14.69 Billion USD by 2024

The pet grooming market has fully exploded from tasty treats, pet clothing, grooming shampoos and conditioners, vitamin supplement tinctures, and the list keeps going. The global pet grooming products market was estimated at USD 13.88 billion in 2023 and is expected to reach USD 14.69 billion in 2024. Every product has a purpose, and this is why our mission at Grow Out Oils is to vet each and every ingredient that we use in our pet grooming shampoos/conditioners and wellness products because it matters.

All Natural Ingredients: Grow Out Oils

We never use insecticides, pesticides, petrochemicals, GMOs, and synthetic additives in our grooming products or vitamin dog tinctures and bath salts. Why? Your pet’s skin is 3% thinner than a human’s skin, which is 12% thicker, so our pets’ skin can quickly be introduced to harmful toxins, heavy metals, and unclean ingredients that could cause health problems and skin issues. Our goal is to offer ingredients that are safe, green, and non-toxic, which will aid in your pet’s overall health and wellness.

Grow Out Oils’s commitment to 100% green formulations reduces environmental impact on the planet and environment. When exploring topical product applications for grooming, consumers should choose more sustainable grooming choices and avoid certain products that contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLES), common surfactants that can cause skin irritation and are often contaminated with harmful byproducts like 1,4-dioxane, a known carcinogen that has also been linked to creating a bad impact on young pets’ eyes and linked to cataract disease. When treating ticks and fleas, avoid using products that contain insecticides and pesticides, which can be very harmful and sometimes even fatal from overexposure to humans and pets.

What is the Risk of Insecticide and Pesticide Exposure?

Insecticide/pesticide exposure in humans can lead to a range of health problems, including skin rashes, respiratory issues, headaches, and dizziness. Long-term exposure has been linked to more serious health conditions, such as cancer and neurological disorders.

    Symptoms of Overexposure:

    – Allethrin, Permethrin, Pyrethrins, Resmethrin: Itching skin, tingling skin, lung congestion
    – Carbaryl, Chlorpyrifos, Dichlorvos (DDVP), Malathion: Fatigue, headache, blurred vision, dizziness, nausea, stomach cramps, diarrhea
    – Rotenone: Skin irritation, eye irritation
    – Lindane: Dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, tremors

It is crucial to be mindful of the ingredients in grooming products to ensure the health and well-being of our beloved pets. Choosing products that are safe, green, and non-toxic not only benefits our pets but also helps reduce our environmental impact. Let’s make conscious choices to protect our pets and our planet.
